Expanding Industries, Seeking Cooperation, Promoting Development—Lin Shaohua Conducts a Research Trip to the Yangtze River Delta Region
To further promote the extension of its main business and open up new industrial sectors, from March 4th to 7th, Lin Shaohua, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of the Group Company, led a team to conduct a research trip to the Yangtze River Delta region. Miao Shenggang, Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union, accompanied him.
On March 5th, Lin Shaohua and his team went to Hailiang Group in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, for a research trip. They conducted in-depth exchanges with Wang Lihong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Hailiang Group, on aspects such as high-end aluminum profile processing, the combination of aluminum profiles and prefabricated buildings, revitalizing idle factories, and rural revitalization. Both sides expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in areas such as high-end manufacturing, overseas industrial expansion, and rural revitalization, and to deepen their cooperative relationship.
It is understood that Hailiang Group's main businesses are non-ferrous metal material manufacturing, education, and ecological agriculture, three major sectors. It has been on the list of the World's Top 500 for five consecutive years and is a benchmark and leading enterprise in the global copper tube and rod processing industry.
The Suzhou Laboratory is a new type of scientific research institution approved by the central government and the only national laboratory in the field of materials. On March 6th, Lin Shaohua and his team visited the Suzhou Laboratory for an exchange. Lin Shaohua first visited the exhibition hall to learn about the site construction, talent team, and industrial layout, and then held a meeting with Professor Li Yao's team from Harbin Institute of Technology. Lin Shaohua stated that they would use the Jiangxi Construction and Investment Electrochromic Smart Glass project as a basis to continuously strengthen industrial cooperation with Professor Li Yao's team in new materials, especially in the fields of energy-saving materials and energy materials, jointly seeking new development.
That afternoon, Lin Shaohua and his team visited Zhongke Zhuoer Intelligent Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Rongrui Nano Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. for research, in-depth understanding of the domestic and international development status of semiconductor materials, intelligent optoelectronic materials, and new energy battery materials, and held talks on industrial investment and expansion projects.
On March 7th, Lin Shaohua and his team visited the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Basalt Fiber Production and Application Technology at Southeast University. This center is a national-level innovation platform approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. It is headed by Southeast University, with Professor Wu Zhishen, a foreign academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering and an academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, serving as the director. During the research trip, members of Academician Wu Zhishen's team introduced the types of products and industrial applications of the Basalt Engineering Center. Lin Shaohua introduced the development history and business layout of Jiangxi Construction, stating that Jiangxi Province has large reserves of high-quality basalt ore and hopes to conduct in-depth cooperation with Academician Wu Zhishen on the application of basalt fiber and composite materials in the renovation of old urban communities, exterior wall insulation reinforcement, and road surface reinforcement.
Following this, Lin Shaohua and his team went to the Group Company's East China regional headquarters for an inspection. They listened to a work report from the East China regional headquarters on its work in party building leadership, market development, risk prevention, and talent reserves since its establishment. Lin Shaohua affirmed the relevant work and put forward requirements for the next steps: First, advance the business reach. Give full play to the role of forward-looking operations, proactive management, and market development to open up a new situation in market development. Second, integrate business resources. Actively connect with local governments, industry authorities, excellent funders, excellent construction enterprises, and design institutes, cultivate the regional market, and build a new market development pattern. Third, strengthen business management. Strictly abide by the various rules and regulations of the Group Company and the "Group Company Regional Headquarters Operation Rules," etc., to coordinate and carry out various business operations within the region.
