Construction begins on Nanjing's first expressway tunnel

The 204 Provincial Highway Tunnel Project in Lishui Development Zone, undertaken by Jiangxi Provincial Construction Group, officially commenced construction on July 20, 2023 at 10:28 AM. More than 50 people attended the opening ceremony, including leaders from Jiangxi Provincial Construction Group Jiangsu Branch, Lishui District Transportation Bureau, Development Zone, and Urban Construction Group. It is reported that this project is the longest tunnel in Nanjing's trunk highway network, with a total length of 2040 meters, including a 1655-meter buried section. It is a dual six-lane expressway that also serves as a main urban road, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

Jiangxi Construction Three Construction helps Jingdezhen High-tech Zone fight floods, dispatching machinery and equipment to work 24 hours a day on the front line of disaster relief.

From July 6th to 7th, Jingdezhen experienced heavy to torrential rain, creating a severe flood control situation. All cadres and people in the High-tech Zone went to the front lines, assisting enterprises in relocation in low-lying areas and making every effort to protect the safety of people's lives and property. In the urgent moment of flood control and rescue, the infrastructure project department of Jiangxi Construction Third Construction Jingdezhen High-tech Zone Aviation Town actively responded to the telegraphic letter from the Jingdezhen Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters "Notice on Making Advance Preparations for the Safe Transfer of the Masses", and proactively requested to participate from Qiu Chenyang, Deputy Director of the District Management Committee and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the District Flood Control Headquarters, effectively and orderly engaging in disaster relief work.
