Four companies have been awarded a national utility model patent.
Recently, Sicong Company's "A New Type of Building Brick" was granted a utility model patent certificate by the State Intellectual Property Office. The advantage of this utility model technology is that it can ensure a firm and stable connection between adjacent brick structures through horizontal and vertical insertion, enabling it to withstand horizontal and vertical vibrations and thus effectively improving the building's seismic resistance. The company's technicians racked their brains, thought actively, dared to practice, and boldly innovated in the research of utility model technologies, thus bearing this technological fruit. This is the company's breakthrough in obtaining patents. On December 15, 2016, the China Construction Industry Association held the Second China Construction Engineering BIM Competition Achievement and Enterprise Informationization Achievement Promotion and Application Experience Exchange Conference in Jinan, Shandong Province, to commend the excellent achievements of the competition. The project, "Application of BIM Technology in the Construction of the New Campus of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee Party School," jointly submitted by Jiangxi Provincial Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Construction No.1 Construction Co., Ltd., stood out among numerous entries and won the second prize of the Excellent Engineering Project Award in the national BIM technology competition for the first time. This is the highest-level award received by a construction enterprise in Jiangxi Province in similar competitions to date, signifying that Jiangxi Construction Engineering Group's BIM technology application has reached a leading level in Jiangxi Province.
The China Construction Engineering BIM Competition is hosted by the China Construction Industry Association and co-organized by the Technology Promotion Department, Engineering Construction Quality Management Branch, Green Construction and Construction Branch, and Architectural Technology Branch of the China Construction Industry Association. This competition is the highest award for BIM technology application in the domestic construction industry. This BIM competition received a total of 568 entries from across the country. The China Construction Industry Association organized preliminary, re-evaluation, and comprehensive evaluations based on the principles of "scientific, fair, and just."
Jiangxi Provincial Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. Technical Center and Jiangxi Construction No.1 Construction Co., Ltd., relying on the project of the new campus of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee Party School, jointly established the Jiangxi Provincial Committee Party School BIM team, combining the difficulties and key points of the project to carry out BIM technology application and actively conduct BIM technology research and popularization and promotion. Aiming at the project's goal of striving for the "Luban Award," BIM technology was used collaboratively across multiple disciplines including structure, architecture, exterior wall decoration, interior decoration, and electromechanical, achieving good results. This project is the first construction project of the group to systematically use BIM technology, not only cultivating a group of BIM technology professionals for the enterprise and creating a good atmosphere for the promotion and application of BIM technology, but also laying a solid foundation for the future application and promotion of BIM technology by the enterprise.
In the future, Jiangxi Construction Engineering Group will take this BIM technology award as an opportunity to actively promote the application of BIM technology in projects with conditions, continuously improve the group's competitiveness and reputation, and make positive contributions to the group's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" economic development. Recently, the Water Conservancy Branch of the China Water Conservancy and Electric Power Quality Management Association held the 2016 Outstanding Quality Management Group Achievement Presentation Conference for the Water Conservancy Industry. Two achievements submitted by the First Construction Engineering Company, "Improving the Qualified Rate of the Appearance Quality of Pier Concrete" and "Improving the Qualified Rate of the Forming Quality of Dam Top Highway Paving Layer Concrete," won the second prize of the "2016 National Water Conservancy Industry Outstanding QC Achievement Award."
