Group Company Holds 2023 Annual Summary and 2024 Work Mobilization Meeting for "Project Management Improvement Year" Action

On the afternoon of March 19, the Group Company held a 2023 annual summary and 2024 work mobilization meeting for the "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign, reviewing the achievements and shortcomings of the past year's "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign and mobilizing the entire Group to further implement the full-process management of projects. Yu Wensheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of the Group Company, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 180 people attended the meeting, including the leaders of the Group Company, heads of relevant departments, and main Party and government leaders, relevant leaders in charge, and department heads of various construction member enterprises.
Yu Wensheng fully affirmed the achievements of the "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign launched by the Group Company last April. He demanded that the entire Group earnestly implement the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Jiangxi, combined with the deployment requirements of the Provincial Committee's "Year of Focusing on Implementation," to solidly advance the Group's "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign and achieve practical results. Continuing to focus on the main line of "reform and improvement centered on project management," the Group's standardized project management level should be comprehensively improved.
Regarding how to carry out the 2024 "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign, Yu Wensheng emphasized: First, it is necessary to enhance ideological understanding and firmly grasp the direction of the project management improvement campaign. We must effectively improve our standing, analyze the situation, and deeply understand that grasping project management is a realistic need to demonstrate the enterprise's attributes, prevent and resolve risks, and promote the enterprise's development. We must firmly grasp the core of project control to promote high-quality development of the enterprise. Second, it is necessary to grasp the implementation and firmly hold the bull by the horns of the project management improvement campaign. We must continue to consolidate the achievements of the "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign, based on the Group Company's "Engineering Management Measures," to establish and improve a project management system centered on contract management and with cost control as the main line. Further strengthen project control, improve the degree of standardized project management, implement in stages and steps, and achieve comprehensive standardized management of the Group's projects. Third, it is necessary to solidify work responsibilities and tighten the safety net of the project management improvement campaign. The 2024 "Project Management Improvement Year" action plan clearly defines the seven goals to be achieved this year and arranges and deploys 36 specific tasks in ten areas. All units must strengthen organizational leadership, supervision, assessment, and publicity and guidance, effectively forming a concerted effort, implementing work responsibilities, ensuring effective results, benchmarking against annual goals and key tasks, adopting pragmatic measures, and ensuring that this year's phased goals are successfully achieved.
At the meeting, Tao Lixin, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, read out the 2024 "Project Management Improvement Year" action plan, clarifying the guiding ideology, action goals, specific measures, implementation steps, and work requirements of this year's "Project Management Improvement Year" action. Li Falong, director of the Engineering Cost Accounting Management Department, reported on the summary of the year-end inspection of the Group's "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign in 2023. Zeng Jun, director of the Engineering Management Department, gave a work report on the 2023 "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign.
