Answering the Integrity Exam, Embarking on the Long March - The Group's "3.23" Integrity Education Special Party Lesson Activity
March 23rd is the annual Integrity Warning Day, and it is also the Party's "examination day" in Beijing. To further educate and guide Party members and cadres to maintain a clear understanding of this "examination," and to enhance the sense of discipline and rules among Party members and employees, the Group's Party Committee deployed the "3.23" warning education activity. On March 22nd, Xu Jingjun, member of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and commissioner of supervision of the Group Company, delivered a "3.23" integrity education special party lesson on the topic of "Taking the Learning of the Disciplinary Punishment Regulations as an Opportunity to Fully Strengthen the Disciplinary Awareness of Cadres and Employees in State-Owned Enterprises."
The special party lesson activity was conducted in a "live + video" format. Members of the Group's leadership team, including Lin Shaohua, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the board, middle-level cadres, and business directors and deputy directors, listened to the lesson in the main venue. Members of the leadership teams and middle-level managers of member enterprises participated in the activity in branch venues.
Xu Jingjun conducted an in-depth and detailed interpretation of the revised "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China" of 2023 from aspects such as revision background, significance, main content, and implementation. Combining enterprise realities and relevant cases, he educated and guided the Party members and cadres of the Group to establish a firm sense of discipline and rules, always maintaining vigilance against discipline, strengthening the dam of the eight central regulations, and using continuous upward and positive political ecology to promote the high-quality development of the Group.
Xu Jingjun pointed out that discipline building plays an important role in the Party's self-revolution, and is an important measure in governing the Party, building the Party, and maintaining its vitality. We must firmly uphold discipline, adhere to the principle of strict discipline, discipline ahead of law, and coordinated discipline and law, use strict discipline to govern the entire Party, make the system "bite," and discipline "electrified," fully leveraging the role of discipline building as a sharp tool for addressing both the symptoms and the root causes, and continuously pushing the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party to a deeper level.
This special party lesson activity had a clear theme and a clear context. In particular, the explanation that drew upon various sources and was explained in a clear and simple way provided Party members and cadres with a lesson on discipline and a compulsory political lesson. Everyone said they benefited greatly and will further strengthen self-discipline in the future, truly internalizing and externalizing the requirements of discipline.
On the afternoon of March 20th, more than 50 members of the Group's leadership team, middle and above-level cadres in the office, and Party members from some subsidiaries went to the Party spirit, party style, and party discipline education hall of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee Party School for an on-site warning education activity.
