Performance Review: Setting Sail for a New Journey - Group Youth League Committee Holds 2023 Annual Youth League Work Performance Review Meeting
Recently, the Group Youth League Committee held the 2023 Annual Youth League Work Performance Review Meeting. Miao Shenggang, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union; Yang Xiaohui, Minister of the Party Committee Organization Department; and Li Li, Deputy Minister of the Party Committee Organization Department and Secretary of the Youth League Committee, attended the meeting. Secretaries of the youth league organizations from various member enterprises also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, the secretaries of the youth league organizations from various units delivered their performance reports in turn, focusing on comprehensively summarizing the achievements of the 2023 work in aspects such as studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, youth theme education, the construction of youth brands, and youth's contributions to national development. They also exchanged ideas on the work plan for 2024.
The meeting pointed out that in 2023, the youth league organizations of various units in the Group closely followed the overall situation and achieved remarkable results in the implementation of key tasks and brand building, promoting better integration of youth league work into production and operation and contributing to high-quality development.
The meeting emphasized the need to implement the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee's "Year of Focusing on Implementation," focusing on the Group's central tasks, planning and carrying out the youth league work in 2024, promoting the continuous improvement of the Group's youth league work, and contributing to the high-quality development of the enterprise with practical actions and achievements.
Miao Shenggang requested: First, We should strengthen political guidance through learning. We should continue to utilize the "Three Meetings, Two Systems, and One Lesson" and in-house learning platforms to guide youth members in deepening their understanding of the Party's innovative theories. Second, We should strengthen red inheritance through activation. We should continue to deepen Party history learning education and learning of the "history of enterprise development," guiding young members to understand the power of ideology and enhance confidence in development. Third, We should strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission through contributions. We should continue to integrate the work of the youth league into the production and operation of the enterprise, guiding young members to take on responsibilities and make contributions. Fourth, We should strengthen team synergy through service. We should continue to improve the self-construction of the youth league, serving as a friend to young people rather than an official, adopting various measures to serve the growth and development of young people, and contributing youth's strength to the high-quality development of the Group.
